Cell relief and nanoparticles modified surfaces as potential antibacterial coating of medical implants
The project aims at a method to improve the coating of medical implants. The antibacterial effective characteristics of three metallic nano prisms are to be connected with the targeted growth of cells. we will synthesize AgPtCu nano prisms with the aid of previously produced silver templates. Due to the specific composition antibacterial effects and enzymatic characteristics can be created. We intend to control the growth of cells with the help of previously produced polymeric stamps. The transport and the effect of the added nano prisms has to be guaranteed at the same time. We will use different types of cells in order to notice and understand possible differences in the growth behavior.
